Sayyiduna Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq’s name was Abdullah Bin Abi Quhafa(may Allah be pleased with him). His father, known as Abu Quhafa, was: Uthman Bin Aamer Bin ‘Amr Al-Sayal Bin Kaab Bin Saad Bin Taym Bin Murrah Bin Kaab Bin Luayy Bin Ghalib Bin Fihr Bin Malik Bin Al-Nadhr Bin Kinana Bin Khuzaima Bin Madraka Bin Ilyass Bin Mudhar Bin Nizar Bin Mued Bin Adnan Al-Adnani Al-Mudhari Al-Kinani.Abu Bakr was from the tribe of Taym, a sub-clan of the tribe of Quraysh, and a descendant of Ismai’l “the Sacrificed,”who was the son of Ibrahim Al-Khalil, peace be upon them all. Abu Bakr’s lineage joins with that of Sayyiduna Muhammad, the Messenger of Allah, through Abu Bakr’s fifth great-grandfather,Murrah Bin Kaab, as the Messenger of Allah’s ancestor,Kilab Bin Murrah, was the brother of Taym Bin Murrah, who was Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq’sfourth great-grandfather.

Both a revolutionary and a martyr, Abdullah Bin Muhammad Bin Abi Bakr As-Siddiq was killed in the Battle of Al-Harrah in Al-Madinah Al-Munawarah in Dhul-Hijjah in 63 AH during the reign of Yazid ibn Mu’awiya of the Umayyad Dynasty.

Abdullah Bin Abdel-Rahman Bin Abi Bakr As-Siddiq was from the tribe of Taym, a sub-clan of the tribe of Quraysh, may Allah be pleased with all of them, while his mother was Qurayba “the Younger,” the daughter of Abu Umayya Bin Al-Mughira Bin Abdullah Bin Umar Bin Makhzum of the Makhzum tribe, another sub-clan of the tribe of Quraysh.

Abdullah embodied several great virtues as both the grandson of Abu Bakr As-Siddiq and a nephew to not one, but two, “Mothers of the Believers.” 

Abu Ateeq, Muhammad Bin Abdel-Rahman Bin Abi Bakr As-Siddiq, may Allah be pleased with him, was from the tribe of Taym, a sub-clan of the tribe of Quraysh. He, his father, his grandfather, and his great-grandfather all lived at the time of the Prophet, may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him and his family, the only people in the Muslim ummah with four generations of men within the same family to experience this privilege. He was the father of Abdullah Bin Abi Ateeq, who was known for his great sense of humor – and most of his narrations were on the authority of Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her. 

Abu Al-Qasim, Muhammad Bin Abi Bakr Al-Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with him and his father), was from the tribe of Taym, a sub-clan of the tribe of Quraysh. He was the Amir of Egypt and the son of the first caliph, Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq. His mother, Asma’ Bint Umais of the tribe of Khathaam, gave birth to him in Dhul Hulifa, located between Makkah and Madinah, in 10 AH, during the Farewell Pilgrimage. He was raised by Ali Bin Abi Talib, may Allah be pleased with him, who married his mother after the death of Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq, who died when Muhammad was about two and a half years old. Muhammad Bin Abi Bakr was known as “Aabid Quraysh”
