Muhammad Al-Badmasi Al-Masri

Muhammad Al-Badmasi Al-Masri (1): Muhammad Bin Ahmed Bin Isma’il Bin Ahmed Al-Sharaf Al-Badmasi Al-Masri.

Shams Al-Din Al-Sakhawi mentioned him, saying: He went to Makkah and lived there for nearly ten years, receiving hadiths from Ibn Saddiq. He earned money by selling documents and was criticized for that. He died there in Dhul Hijjah of 808 AH. It is believed that he was over the age of 40 at the time of his death. He used to say that he was of the descendants of (Abu Bakr) Al-Siddiq, may Allah be pleased with him. Al-Fasi also mentioned him being in Makkah.
