Ibn Al-Hammal Al-Bakri
Ibn Al-Hammal Al-Bakri (1): Abdullah Bin Abdel-Rahman Al-Hammal Al-Bakri of Madinah was from the tribe of Quraysh and a descendant of Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq. Al-Sakhawi mentioned him in Al-Tuhfah Al-Latifah fi Tarikh Al-Madinah al-Sharifah, saying: “He is the youngest brother of Abdul-Wahhab and Muhammad, and he is known as Ibn Hammal. He died in Madinah in seventy-something.” –End of Citation
Note: My research indicates that he lived during the ninth century after the Hijrah.
