Jamaluddin Abu Ishaq Al-Fayoumi

Jamaluddin Abu Ishaq Al-Fayoumi (1): The scholar and musannid  (one who ascribes hadiths) Burhan Al-Din Ibrahim Bin Muhammad Bin Muhammad Bin Isma’il Bin Yusuf Bin Ateeq Bin Naja Al-Bard Bin Sabi’ Bin Musa Bin Ibrahim Bin Saleh Bin Ahmed Bin Talha Bin Abdullah Bin Abdel-Rahman Bin Abi Bakr Al-Siddiq was from the tribe of Taym, a sub-clan of the tribe of Quraysh, and a descendant of Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq. Also known as Jamaluddin Abu Ishaq Al-Masri and Al-Fayoumi, he was born in either 663 or 665 AH. He received hadiths from Ibn ‘Allaq and Al-Najib Al-Harani. He died in either 748 or 749 AH. He was the brother of  Naser Al-Din Abu Abdullah Muhammad Bin Muhammad Bin Muhammad Bin Isma’il Al-Fayoumi, who also received hadiths from Abdullah Bin ‘Allaq and Al-Najib Al-Harani.
