Fakhr Al-Din Abu Abdullah Al-Suhrawardi

Fakhr Al-Din Abu Abdullah Al-Suhrawardi (1): Fakhr Al-Din Abu Abdullah Muhammad Bin Ezz Al-Din Abu Al-Hasan Ali Bin Kamal Al-Din Ahmed Bin Muhammad Bin Al-Aazz Al-Bakri Al-Suhrawardi of Baghdad, the jurist and author, was born on a Monday, at the end of Rajab in 687 AH.

A descendant of Grand Sheikhs and jurists, Fakhr Al-Din came from a noble household of writers and scholars. He received knowledge from Judge Burhan Al-Din Muhammad Bin Muhammad Al-Bukhari, a Hanafi teacher of the Al-Bashiriya Madrasah. He was also close to the scholar Sheikh Shams Al-Din Muhammad Bin Nama Al-Ibrismi the grammarian and received knowledge from him as well. He was known as a diligent and hard-working individual.
