Aziz Al-Din Al-Suhrawardi

Aziz Al-Din Al-Suhrawardi (1): Aziz Al-Din Abu Muhammad Abdullah Bin Emad Al-Din Muhammad Bin Shahab Al-Din Umar Bin Amuwiah Al-Suhrawardi of Baghdad was a Sufi descendant of Grand Sheikhs, abdals (pure believers), and righteous worshippers. He was of those knowledgeable about the inner and outer dimensions of Qur’an interpretation, also called the esoteric and exoteric. He received hadiths from his father and others. Both handsome and eloquent, he died young—at the age of eighteen, according to some sources, and most of the people of Baghdad came out to mourn his death.
