Sharaf Al-Din Ibn Amrouk Al-Qahiri

Sharaf Al-Din Ibn Amrouk Al-Qahiri (1): The Honorable Master Muhammad Bin Abi Abdullah Muhammad Bin Abi Al-Futouh Muhammad Bin Abi Sa’d Muhammad Bin Abi Sa’eed Muhammad Bin Amrouk, who was ‘Amr Bin Abi Sa’eed Muhammad Bin Abdullah Bin Al-Hasan Bin Al-Qasim Bin ‘Alqama Bin Nasr Bin Muath Bin Abdel-Rahman Bin Al-Qasim Bin Muhammad Bin Abi Bakr Al-Siddiq was from the tribe of Quraysh and a descendant of Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq known as Sharaf Al-Din Abu Al-Fadhl of Cairo. He was the brother of Al-Hafidh Sadr Al-Din Abu Ali Al-Hasan Ibn Amrouk and the father of Abi Bakr Muhammad.

Sharaf Al-Din was born in Cairo in 590 AH. He received hadiths from his grandfather, as well as from Hanbal, Amr Bin Tabrzad, and Abi Al-Yumn Al-Kindi, while Ibn Al-Halawania, Al-Dumyati, and Abu Al-Hasan Bin Al-Shatibi all narrated on his authority. He died in Cairo on the 4th of Muharram in 665 AH and was buried the next day in Safeh Al-Muqattam.
