Sadr Al-Din Al-Nishapuri

Sadr Al-Din Al-Nishapuri (1): Abu Abdullah Muhammad Bin Abi Al-Futouh Muhammad Bin Abi Sa’d Muhammad Bin Abi Sa’eed Muhammad Bin Amrouk, who was ‘Amr Bin Abi Sa’eed Muhammad Bin Abdullah Bin Al-Hasan Bin Al-Qasim Bin ‘Alqama Bin Nasr Bin Muath Bin Abdel-Rahman Bin Al-Qasim Bin Muhammad Bin Abi Bakr Al-Siddiq, was a descendant of Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq whose ancestry can be traced to Nishapur. Also known as Najm Al-Din the Shafi’i Sufi, Sadr Al-Din Al-Nishapuri was born in Aleppo in the month of Sha’ban in 550 AH. He received hadiths from Abi Tahir Al-Salafi, and in Damascus, from Abi Al-Barakat Al-Khadhr Bin ‘Abd and Abi Al-Qasim Ibn Asakir. He was also a muhaddith (transmitter of hadiths) upon whose authority Al-Shihab Al-Qusi and others narrated. He died in Damascus on the 18th of either Ramadan or Shawwal in 617 AH and was buried on the same day in Bab Al-Saghir Cemetery next to his father.
