Muhammad Bin A’azz Al-Suhrawardi

Muhammad Bin A’azz Al-Suhrawardi (1): Fakhr Al-Din Abu Abdullah Muhammad Bin Abi Al-Harith A’azz Bin Abi Hafs Umar Bin Muhammad Bin Abdullah Amuwiah Bin Sa’d Bin Al-Hasan Bin Al-Qasim Bin Al-Nadhr Bin Al-Qasim Bin Muhammad Bin Abdullah Bin Abdel-Rahman Bin Al-Qasim Bin Muhammad Bin Abi Bakr Al-Siddiq of Sohrevard and Baghdad was a descendant of Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq. Known as Abu Abdullah the Sufi, he was a descendant of Grand Sheikhs who was born in 527 AH and received hadiths from his grandfather, Umar Bin Muhammad Bin Abdullah Bin Sa’d Al-Suhrawardi the Sufi, the paternal uncle of Abi Al-Najib. He also received hadiths from Isma’il Ibn Al-Samarqandi, Aba Sa’d Ahmed Bin Muhammad Al-Baghdadi, and Aba Al-Waqt, while Abu Abdullah Al-Dubaithi and Al-Najib Abdul-Latif narrated on his authority. Muhammad Bin A’azz Al-Suhrawardi died on a Tuesday, on the 2nd or 3rd of Shawwal, in 606 or 607 AH, although 606 is more likely. He was buried the next day in Al-Sahliya, next to Jami’ Al-Sultan Mosque.
