Majid Bin Mahfouth

Majid Bin Mahfouth (1): Scholar and poet Majid Bin Mahfouth Bin Marei Bin Tarkhan Bin Saif, Al-Sharif Al-Talhi Al-Bakri Al-Siddiqi, was a resident of Valencia, Andalusia and a descendant of Talha Bin Abdullah Bin Abdel-Rahman Bin Abi Bakr Al-Siddiq, may Allah be pleased with him. Known as both Aba Al-Maali and Aba Al-Sharaf, he was a skilled writer and a great poet regarded as one of the best writers in history. He was also known for his generosity and great composure when dealing with people. He died in Marrakech in either 603 or 604 AH.
