Emad Al-Din Bin Shahab Al-Din Al-Suhrawardi

Emad Al-Din Bin Shahab Al-Din Al-Suhrawardi (1): Emad Al-Din Abu Ja’far Muhammad Bin Al-Imam Al-Arif Sheikh Abi Abdullah Umar Bin Muhammad Bin Abdullah Bin Amuwiah Al-Suhrawardi was from the tribe of Taym, a sub-clan of the tribe of Quraysh, and a descendant of Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq. Born in Sohrevard in 587 AH, he was a highly respected Sufi who lived in Baghdad. He received hadiths from Imam Abi Al-Faraj Abdel-Rahman Bin Ali Ibn Al-Jawzi, Sheikh Abi Ahmed Abdul-Wahhab Bin Ali Ibn Sukaina, and Al-Hafith Abi Muhammad Al-Qasim Bin Ali Al-Dimashqi, while Al-Dumyati, his grandson (Abu Al-Qasim Abdul-Mahmoud Bin Abdel-Rahman Bin Muhammad Ibn Al-Suhrawardi), and others narrated on his authority. He died in Baghdad on the 10th of Jumada Al-Thani in 655 AH.
