Abu Zakariyya Yahya Al-Suhrawardi

Abu Zakariyya Yahya Al-Suhrawardi (1): Abu Zakariyya Yahya Bin Abi Bakr Abdullah Bin A’azz Bin Umar Bin Muhammad Bin Abdullah of Baghdad was originally from Sohrevard. He and his father received hadiths from Abi Al-Waqt Abdul-Awla Bin Esa Al-Sajzi. He also transmitted hadiths. He grew up in a household in which knowledge of the hadith and Tasawwuf were give great importance, and more than one member of his family transmitted hadiths. He died in Jumada Al-Awwal of 616 AH.
