Ahmed Bin Muhammad Bin Ahmed Bin Abdul-Munim (Sheikh of Sijjada Bakria)
Ahmed Bin Muhammad Bin Ahmed Bin Abdul-Munim (1): The righteous Shafi’i Sheikh Ahmed Bin Muhammad Bin Ahmed Bin Abdul-Munim Bin Abi Al-Surour was a descendant of Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq and Sheikh of the Sijjada Bakria in Egypt. He was a man of determination, honor, faith, virtue, devotion, and justice. He assumed leadership after the death of his father and took a moderate approach guided by pure intentions. Sheikh Ahmed Bin Muhammad was a successful individual distinguished by his piety and great attachment to Allah, known for the invocations and supplications he used to make. He died in 1195 AH, on Saturday, the twelfth of Rabi’ Al-Thani, and prayers were held for him in Al-Azhar Mosque amidst a large crowd of people. He was buried in a cemetery belonging to his ancestors, near the grave of Imam Al-Shafi’i.
