Saffiyah Bint Sidi Sulaiman

Saffiyah Bint Sidi Sulaiman (1): Al-Sayyida Saffiyah Bint Sheikh Sidi Sulaiman Bin Abi Samaha was from the tribe of Quraysh and a descendant of Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq. She was a follower of the Sunni tradition and lived a noble life. Her father married her to a man of noble lineage as enjoined by his Sheikh, Al-‘Alim Al-Rabbani Sidi Imam Abu Al-Abbas Ahmed Bin Yusuf Al-Maliani. She bore him Al-Sayyid Yahya, who fathered twelve sons of his own, who formed the tribe of Awlad Anhar. Al-Sayyida Saffiyah’s tomb is in Tiout. The above-mentioned son received knowledge from Sheikh Sidi Muhammad Bin Abdel-Rahman Al-Sahli.
