Abu Al-Fakhr Hisham Bin Ghannam

Abu Al-Fakhr Hisham Bin Ghannam (1): The muhaddith (transmitter of hadith) Abu Al-Fakhr Hisham Bin Ghannam Bin Abdul-Malik Bin Abdel-Rahman Bin Abi Tahir Muhammad Bin Ahmed Bin Abdullah Bin Abdel-Rahman Bin Al-Qasim Bin Muhammad Bin Abi Bakr Al-Siddiq was from the tribe of Taym, a sub-clan of the tribe of Quraysh, a descendant of Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq, and naqib (head) of the Bakri family in Isfahan in the middle of the sixth century after the Hijrah. Among the prominent people of his time, he received hadiths from his father, Al-Sharif Aba Harb Al-Bakri, and died in Isfahan in Rabi’ Al-Awwal of 549 AH.
