Nuh Bin Talha

Nuh Bin Talha ([1]): Nuh Bin Talha Al-Darahim Bin Abdullah Bin Abdel-Rahman Bin Abi Bakr As-Siddiq Al-Bakri was from the tribe of Taym, a sub-clan of the tribe of Quraysh, and of Bakri lineage. He narrated on the authority of his father, while his brother, Ibrahim Bin Talha, narrated on his authority.

  • Note ([2]): There are those who mistake Nuh Bin Talha Al-Darahim Al-Bakri for Nuh Bin Ibrahim Bin Muhammad Bin Talha Al-Fayadh Bin Ubaydullah Al-Taymi due to the similarity between their names and also due to them being relatives of Taymi descent. You will find such people saying that Nuh Bin Talha Al-Darahim Al-Bakri married a slave whose name is believed to have been Aliaa, the daughter of Ali Zain Al-Abideen Bin Al-Hussein Al-Sibt, may Allah be pleased with them all, while the truth is that her husband was actually Nuh Bin Ibrahim Bin Muhammad Bin Talha Bin Ubaydullah Al-Taymi.
