Ibrahim Bin Muhammad Bin Ishaq Al-Taymi
Ibrahim Bin Muhammad Bin Ishaq Al-Taymi (1): Al-Khatib Al-Baghdadi (d. 463 AH) mentioned that Ibrahim Bin Muhammad Bin Ishaq Al-Taymi was a descendant of Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq, may Allah be pleased with him. He also mentioned him having recited a poem from a man from the tribe of Quraysh.
Ibn Hajar Al-Asqalani (d. 852 AH), on the other hand, mentioned him in Al-Isaba fi Tamyiz Al-Sahaba, calling him: Ibrahim Bin Muhammad Bin Ishaq of the tribe of Taym, of the tribe of Quraysh, a descendant of Ubaydullah Bin Mu’ammar of the tribe of Taym, of the tribe of Quraysh.
What Al-Khatib Al-Baghdadi said was more accurate, however, due to the fact that the era in which he lived was closer to that of Ibrahim Bin Muhammad—and Allah knows best.
