Ahmed Abu Al-Abbas Al-Asbahani

Ahmed Abu Al-Abbas Al-Asbahani (1): Ahmed Bin Hatim Bin Bassam Bin Aamer, known as Abu Al-Abbas Al-Bakri Al-Taymi Al-Asbahani Al-Shahid. In the sources available to us, there was not sufficient information regarding this individual, other than the fact that he was called “Al-Bakri Al-Taymi.” Most likely, however, he was from the family of Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq, may Allah be pleased with him.

He made trips to Khorasan and Baghdad in 420 AH, where he heard the hadith of different people. He narrated on the authority of Abi Ali Bin Shathan, while Al-Husayn Bin Abdul-Malik Al-Adeeb narrated on his authority. He died in the month of Safar in 473 AH.
