Sheikh Ahmed Kublai Al-Bakri (Sheikh of Sijjada Bakria)

Mr. Ahmed Bin Al-Sheikh Muhammad Kublai Bin Ahmed Urkhan Al-Bakri, a descendant of Abu Bakr As-Siddiq, may Allah be pleased with him, is the Sheikh of Sijjada Bakria. He assumed leadership after the death of his father, Sheikh Muhammad Kublai, in the year 2005 AD, transforming his home, located in Cairo’s Zamalek District, into the new headquarters of the Sijjada Bakria. As mentioned in the biography of his father, their lineage can be traced to the honorable Bakri family on the maternal side. Mr. Ahmed Kublai holds the position of Director of the Office of the Culture and Tourism Counselor in the Turkish embassy in Cairo and also owns a metal shaping factory.

 

Mr. Ahmed Kublai has one son, Kubali “Junior,” who is the youngest descendant of the family of Sultan Abdul Hamid II of the Ottoman Dynasty. Kublai Junior was born on January 21, 2006 AD, which marked the first anniversary of the death of his grandfather, Sheikh Muhammad Kublai Senior, who passed away on January 21, 2005 AD.
